one year later

My cat Smudge died one year ago today,
and although I miss her,
I am no longer sad thinking of her.
Instead I have a hat box full of great photos
and video tapes of her,
and memories to last a life time.
Like this one here of her lying in the sunlight.
She loved our balcony in the summertime,
especially at sunset.
So today, one year later,
on the day she moved on to her second cat life,
I just wanted to share a smudge of sunlight with you.
